DAN PEARCE / MIXED MEDIA ARTIST / FILM MAKER

PORTFOLIO

Dan Pearce stands as one of Britain’s most collectible contemporary artists, transforming cultural icons through cutting-edge technology and street art aesthetics. From his recent major sculpture commission for Four Seasons Hotel Doha to celebrity commissions including Paul Pogba’s personal tribute, and collaborative films “Hope” with The Prodigy’s Maxim and “The Fight” with director Ant-Oni, Pearce’s multidisciplinary practice spans sculptures, lightworks, lenticular works, skateboard decks, and his groundbreaking infinity mirrors.

/ INNOVATION THROUGH CULTURE

Music drives Pearce’s artistic vision, spanning rave culture—with an entire collection dedicated to acid house iconography—to hip-hop legends and classic rock icons. From Rolling Stones tributes to Notorious BIG portraits and Bowie-inspired works, his technical mastery transforms static imagery into dynamic experiences.

Signature lenticular pieces reveal evolving narratives as viewers move, whilst his latest infinity mirror series creates seemingly endless visual experiences that blur the line between artwork and installation.

Working with materials spanning spray paint and resin to LED lighting and 3D elements, Pearce crafts everything from oversize cassette tape sculptures to Space Invaders made from repurposed spray paint cans. Each work triggers one of three responses: intellectual curiosity (“How did he do that?”), tactile engagement, or kinetic interaction through movement.

/ SCULPTURAL EVOLUTION

Pearce’s three-dimensional works demonstrate his ability to master diverse materials and scales. From the monumental “Kinetic Drop”—an 8ft stainless steel sculpture capturing the split-second moment of water collision—to “Space Invader One” crafted from repurposed spray paint cans, and “X-Sprayed,” a holographic retrospective lasered within crystal glass, his sculptural practice spans traditional fabrication to cutting-edge technology. These pieces transform familiar iconography and everyday materials into substantial forms that command physical space whilst maintaining the conceptual depth of his two-dimensional work.

/ CULTURAL COMMENTARY

Pearce interrogates power and celebrity through works that function as both cultural artifacts and contemporary art statements. His fusion of street cultural elements with luxury brand iconography—evident in royal reimaginings and designer-adorned classical portraits—challenges traditional hierarchies whilst maintaining sophisticated artistic execution.

His collaborative practice extends beyond the studio, with projects supporting NHS Charities Together, YoungMinds, and Shelter, demonstrating how contemporary art can drive social impact alongside commercial success.

/ FILMS & COLLABORATIONS

Pearce’s collaborative practice extends his artistic vision beyond the studio into moving image and large-scale public works. “Hope,” his pandemic-themed project with The Prodigy’s Maxim (view Hope here), merged sculpture with a powerful short film starring Pearce’s son, exploring mental health, homelessness, and community resilience—with sculptures donated to NHS Charities Together, YoungMinds, and Shelter. “The Fight,” created with director Antony Petrou, captures a visceral journey that transcends the boxing ring.  Watch The Fight trailer here.

His commercial collaborations include artwork for grime artist SL’s EP cover and commissions for Disney+, whilst his Camden Market mural—blending street art with integrated lenticular prints of Debbie Harry—demonstrates his ability to create immersive public experiences that honour cultural heritage whilst pushing technical boundaries.
