A Better Place to Play

“A Better Place to Play” expands on the lenticular format with nine tiles showing Liam Gallagher on stage during the 2025 reunion tour, transforming to reveal lyrics from “Don’t Look Back in Anger” in bold red text. The piece is framed by a collage of black and white imagery from the Live ’25 shows, creating a comprehensive visual document of the historic comeback.

The border images capture the scale and emotion of the reunion – crowds, backstage moments, the brothers reunited on stage. The lenticular centre shifts between performance and poetry, while the surrounding photographs ground the piece in the reality of what actually happened when Oasis finally returned. This work celebrates not just the songs, but the entire experience of witnessing rock history being made.
