‘Jay Z’ is from my new mixed media ‘The Urban Jungle – NYC’ collection.
Hand cut glass, shattered glass, diamond dust, gold leaf, spray paint and resin on aluminum sheet.

Finished in a inner sprayed frame with white outer frame.

THE URBAN JUNGLE is an extension to Dan’s Endangered series. Dan is fresh from a recent trip to New York and was busy photographing lots of street and urban environments. This sparked an idea to combine his endangered animal style with his own photography. The smashed glass is still evident and some new materials will also be introduced.
